March 2014 Recap

For whatever reason, I've always thought of March as a long month, even though it's not the only one with 31 days. Well, this March just flew. I've been in a bit of a reading slump again, as well as quite pressed for leisure time to read and blog and generally do anything other than go to work and do necessary stuff around the house. On the bright side, Game of Thrones returns in a few days (I ALWAYS find time for that!), and we'll be celebrating our second blogoversary soon, too! So here's one last look back at March:

  1. I've been having the same problem too. It seems like I used to get through so many books a week and now I can't find the time to read. It's hurting my feelings a bit actually :D I hope everything winds down a little for you, just remember July and August are around the corner and they are both long months too! 1. I'm also frustrated by the fact that I rarely have time to just sit down and read for more than 15 straight minutes, lol. I'm soooo looking forward to the long Memorial Day weekend next month!

  2. Hasn't time been just FLYING since like last September?! I think we've discussed this on every single one of your recap posts since then >.< I feel like we're in some kind of time vortex lol And I can certainly understand when work + life getting so busy that it interferes with any downtime. Hopefully things slow down for you soon...here's to a chill April xx PS- I'd say enjoy the return of GoT but I already know you will ;-)

    1. Yes- time vortex is a good way to describe how fast the months are going by! We need a TARDIS ASAP so we can just travel to whenever we want when we need to! And the return of GoT- it's like Christmas; seriously. :D

  3. I am beyond excited for Game of thrones! I can't wait! I just finished season three the other week and now I know what everyone was walking about on Facebook last year with the 'red wedding'. I was so shocked!! So excited for GoT!

    1. That episode left me traumatized, even though I'd read the books! I can only imagine the reaction of everyone who didn't know the Red Wedding was coming. I can't wait to see how the show runners are going to top last season; I'm sure they will, though!
