Cousinly Conversation Vlog: Marching to the Beat of The Hunger Games

Today we're excited to share with you a video of our marching band's performance of our Hunger Games-themed show at a competition last weekend. It was really windy that day, so that's the whooshing sound you sometimes hear in the video. We hope you enjoy the performance!

  1. Good job guys! Was Lee the one who shot the video? You girls must have a phenomenal set of lungs, I bet it's challenging to move and play at the same time. - B

    1. Haha, yeah it takes a lot of stamina to march and play a whole show. Lee actually was the one who was behind the camera, she's our tech nerd! :P

    1. The rest of the family and I have seen Melissa and Ally perform in their school's auditorium at their holiday and spring concerts, but this was our first time watching them march. Man, was it impressive!

    2. We don't really have anything like this here in NZ. Well at least at my high school didn't. My high school was all sport, everyone either played a sport or watched the sport... :/

So seeing that was pretty awesome! It definitely looked impressive! And looked like a load of fun!

    3. I went to an all-girls high school in New York, and we had an orchestra instead of a band. I'd only ever seen marching bands on TV, so seeing them in person was quite an experience.
