We saw Breaking Dawn - Part 2 this week and recorded a short vlog to share our thoughts on it.

  1. I'm so lame, I haven't even seen the 3rd movie and everyone's raving about the last movie. Fitting I guess since it's the end of the franchise. Thanks for the vlog!

    1. I'm really happy that the series went out on a high note. The previous movies weren't all that great, so I didn't know what to expect with the last one. It was definitely a pleasant surprise.

  2. Awesome review you guys, you pretty much nailed it for me - you're feelings and reactions were dead on with what I felt when I went to see BD2 as well! I'm glad people who didn't like BD the book as much were satisfied with the film version as well. I was initially bummed out during the first half of the book - but the second half just won me over and I think it's my favorite book out of the whole series. Needless to say, I loved the movie too! The twist ending was really well done but I was SO freaking out as it was happening LOL certainly got a bit emotional too at the end there, and I've kind of been bummed out since that we don't have any new Twilight stuff to look forward to anymore! I kinda want to re-read the whole series now haha :) Anyways thanks for sharing ladies & glad you enjoyed it too!!

    1. The three of us were freaking out, too, while we watched the ending, lol. Ally was jumping in her seat, Melissa was pulling her hair, and my mouth was hanging open in disbelief. I didn't expect to feel sentimental about it being all over, but I did! I think a big part of it for me was thinking back to when Ally, Melissa, and I all read Twilight 4 years ago, and how quickly the time has flown by. Also, it was the first YA novel I read as an adult, and it got me to love reading again. So, the series will always be special to me, even if I'm not as keen on it as I once was.

  3. Great vlog! BD was my least fave book of the series, too, and I wasn't really excited for this final movie but I did still want to see it. I was pretty impressed! The dialogue was still a bit cheesy and forced but that scene at the end - my heart was racing!!

    1. I winced a few times at the dialogue, too, but the ending made me forget all about it. I can't wait to watch the movie again on DVD and hope that they rush it out for Valentine's Day again like they did for Part 1.
