Summer Lovin' Read-a-thon: Class Orientation

The Summer Lovin’ Readathon is a week-long readathon event hosted by seven independent bloggers! (Oh, Chrys!, Tumbling Books, Effortlessly Reading, Love Life Read, Shelf Addiction, Read Sleep Repeat, and Reviewing Wonderland)

We're extremely excited to be taking part in the Summer Lovin' Read-a-thon! This is the first read-a-thon for all three of us, and it's great that we can do this as a family and cheer each other on. We're planning on spending July 4th by the pool with our books, and we're especially looking forward to the 24-hour marathon on Saturday.

We're going to be taking our progress day-by-day, so our reading goals for the week are rather broad:

  • Ally: Read all books in current library pile, which will most likely be down to zero before the end of the week, requiring an emergency trip to the library to replenish it.
  • Lee: Read all books in current library pile, plus read at least two books that I already own, starting with Shatter Me and Throne of Glass.
  • Melissa: Read at least one book each day.

We look forward to getting a lot of reading done this week and having a lot of fun!

  5. Hi guys! Good luck on all your goals! I still need to read Throne of Glass, but I liked Shatter Me a lot - though I loved the sequel and novella even more. ;)

    Happy Summer Lovin'!

    1. Good luck to you, too, Nikki! I was very tempted to get Unravel Me when I saw it at the library this morning, just in case, but I figured I'd see how Shatter Me goes first. I also have more than enough books at home already, lol.

  6. Read one book each day? I like that. That would definitely help me reduce my TBR pile. :)
Plus, I totally need to read Shatter Me.

    1. I promised Melissa and Ally that I'd read a book they each recommended for the read-a-thon, and Melissa REALLY wants me to read Shatter Me, lol.

    1. Ally and Melissa are really fast readers when they have the time. I average a book every few days, though I'm trying to put in some extra reading time this week.
