June 2013 Recap

June was much quieter compared to May, so that meant more time for reading! We've been going to the library pretty often and even braved the summer heat one day and walked there. We also walked the bike/hiking trail to the park and spent some time reading there until the sun became too much. We were on the verge of collapsing from the heat when we got home and were extremely fortunate to be able to jump straight into the pool.

    1. Sadly, it wasn't for me. I didn't like the way some of the characters were portrayed, and the romance was too much on the sweet side. I know I'm in the minority with my opinion; so many other readers loved it.

    1. Ally read her whole library pile in, like, a week. I had to do a bit of speed reading last month because I was out of renewals on a few library books, lol.

  4. Wow another great month book wise AND I love reading about your sun-filled library and bookish excursions...complete with a refreshing pool dip to cap everything off ♥ And SO many of the books you've read in June are ones that have been on my TBR for far too long - Shadow and Bone, Etiquette & Espionage, the His Fair Assassin books, the Fire & Thorn series and the Lux series! I wish I had more reading time and could read as much as you girls and feel more caught up...yeah, like we could ever be caught up anyways XD

    1. I look at my Goodreads to-read shelf all the time and think, I'm never going to read all of those books. Ever. I've tried whittling it down a few times, but so many of those books are ones I really, really want to read! We books nerds have such problems, lol.

  5. Yay to us! We all had a great reading month for June! I'm just riding this out, at one point I know I'll reach reader's fatigue and I'll be lounging 10 feet away from any book or ereader.

    1. I'm in the reading zone right now, too, which is good because I've somehow accumulated a pretty big stack of library books, lol.
