Stacking the Shelves (39)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's an opportunity for everyone to share the new books that we've acquired.

I really need to stop browsing the books at the library whenever I return some, because lately I've been leaving there with at least as many as I've dropped off. I also had two holds come in—Hex Hall, which I'm reading for Witches and Wizards month for the Paranormal Reading Challenge, and Eve, which I'm reading as part of a dystopian swap with my cousin Ally, who'll be reading Lauren DeStefano's Wither.

Borrowed:

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys
Hex Hall by Sophie Hawkins
Eve by Anna Carey

Won:

On Every Street by Karina Halle
Sins and Needles by Karina Halle
The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen
The Forever of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen

A very, very big THANK YOU to Debbie of Talk Supe for all four of these awesome eBooks!

What did you add to your shelves this week? Please link me up!

  5. That's one of my weaknesses, I just can't go to the library and browse. I have to get at least 2 books each time. And it's killing me, because I can't read all of them :(.
You'll love Hex Hall, That whole series is amazing!

    1. In the past I've had to return library books unread, and it was painful. I've been trying to be better about only borrowing what I have time to read, and sometimes I'll just leave my card home when I'm returning books. I was rather weak-willed this time, though, lol.

    1. I'm excited to finally read one of Ruta Sepetys's books! It was shelved in by accident with the "M" authors, so I'm glad that I happened to be browsing over there or else I never would have seen it!

    1. I finished Eve the other day, and it wasn't my thing. Eve's character really annoyed me, and the world-building was meh.

I'm quite curious as to what you'll think of Hex Hall, it's been on my TBR shelf for years but since I read School Spirits, I've been even more eager to get into the original series! Congrats on the ebook winnings too, I've heard nothing but rave reviews for the Sins & Needles books so I hope they'll impress you too :) Enjoy your books Lee
