Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's an opportunity for everyone to share the new books that we've acquired.
Last week was the first time in a while that all three of us have been able to go to the library together, and as you'll see from the photos, Ally and Melissa just about cleaned the place out. DeleteJust read Unspoken, loved it..Kami is such a likable main character. Shadow and Bone is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteThe end of Unspoken totally killed me; I'm almost afraid to read the sequel! :)
DeleteGracious! You did clean the library out. I have read most of Ally's picks and liked them all. Seraphina is also a favorite of mine. Melissa got so many good ones too. Come and see what I got at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI almost feel bad about it, but as the saying goes: If you snooze you lose! :D
DeleteSweet Jeebus, what an amazing haul! Ok every one of you has multiple causes for excitement in your stacks and I don't want to forget anything so here goes:
ReplyDeleteAlly: Shadow & Bone, Etiquette & Espionage, the Fire & Thorns series and Crewel are ALL wishlist books of mine too!! Hope you love them all! I still need to read my copy of book one of the His Fair Assassin series but seeing book 2 always puts a smile on my face :)
Lee: OMG Seraphina! I STILL NEED to read that one myself but I think it's going to be an amazing one :D I still need to read the Anna series, I'm really drawn to them. Oh and my cousin Giselle really enjoyed the Forest of Hands & Teeth series if I remember so I hope you will too!
Melissa: The Diviners & Immortal Rules are two that I own as well but fail because I haven't read them yet. I hope you will love them! Might motivate me to read them fasted them LOL Oh and I've heard great things about the Monstrumologist series so I hope you'll have a similar experience!
Hope you enjoy every single thing in these stacks guys and I'll be eager to read your thoughts on all of these! Thanks for sharing
I was looking at Melissa's gigantic book stack today, and it still amazes me. :D Our library has gotten a lot of new books in recently, and it was so hard not to grab everything I wanted. I got so excited to see Seraphina that I forgot I'd wanted to read it for dragon month for the Paranormal Reading Challenge. Oh well- I'll just have to find something else because I couldn't just leave Seraphina there on the shelf.
