February 2013 Recap

Well, we're officially into the third month of 2013, and we're continuing to keep our library borrows manageable. The other day, Ally suggested we only borrow a maximum of two books at a time, and I think that's a great idea. We both still have quite a few books sitting on our shelves at home that we have to read, but we're slowly getting there. We definitely couldn't say that a few months ago!

Here's what happened around the blog in February:

Ally Read:

  • Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion
  • Daughter of the Earth and Sky by Kaitlin Bevis
  • Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith
  • Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Lee Read:

  • Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon
  • Boundless by Cynthia Hand
  • Daughter of the Earth and Sky by Kaitlin Bevis
  • Seize the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon
  • The Dark Unwinding by Sharon Cameron
  • The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead
  • Paper Valentine by Brenna Yovanoff
  • Every Day by David Levithan

  1. I'm reading Throne of Glass at the moment and am really enjoying it.
I also really need to read something by David Levithan soon; I've heard great stuff about his books.

You've had a really good February! Best wishes for March. :)

    1. Every Day was fantastic! I also loved Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, which he co-wrote with Rachel Cohn. And Ally said that Throne of Glass was amazing, and that I need to read it myself very soon.

  2. Looks like a great month of reading and posting. February has been a little slow on the reading for me, but I like the idea of two library books maximum. I need some sort of control over my library books.

    Great post guys! :-)

    1. I was borrowing way too many books at a time and couldn't keep up with them. I've been a lot better at keeping the library pile to a minimum so far this year. In fact, we went to the library this morning, and I didn't even take my card because I already have two books at home.
