Feature & Follow Friday (23)

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and
Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet other book bloggers!

This week's question is:
Activity! Hopefully warm weather for most of us is here soon . . . so tell us about your favorite outdoor reading spot. Or take a picture.

This is Ally's backyard patio, and our favorite outdoor reading spot. Lee is very fortunate that her cousin lives within walking distance and gets to hang out at Ally's house all the time, including by the pool, because all Lee has behind her house is a giant hill that slopes downward.

If you're a new follower, be sure to let us know so that we can follow you back. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. It is nice to sit out there and just relax with a good book. We read most of the A Song of Ice and Fire books in that spot.

    1. Our winters are typically mild, but it's been on the chilly side this year. I actually hope it stays that way for a little longer before the really hot weather begins.

  3. Reading by the pool does sound like fun! I don't think I did that at ALL last summer. Need to remedy that this year. :D Old Follower via GFC. Happy Friday!

    1. I was shocked by the size of Ally's yard the first time I saw it because we both previously lived in NY and had tiny slabs of concrete for yards, lol. Thanks for following!

  6. Oh my goodness, I have a picture of a pool on my post too, the blow up kind! The scene sure looks tranquil, but I can't imagine a dry spot of concrete with my boys around. New RSS follower. This is my FF.

    1. Normally, the patio is quite noisy and covered in water when everybody's out there. We love having water gun fights! I happened to catch it at a quiet moment with the camera that day. Thanks for following!

  7. It gets unbearably hot here in the summer, so when we do hang out in the yard, it's towards the evening when there's usually a breeze.
