Stacking the Shelves (24)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's an opportunity for everyone to share the new books that we've acquired.

It's just my small pile this week. So far this year, I've been good about not borrowing too many library books at a time so that I can get through my books at home. In fact, I wouldn't have had any library books this week, but my request for The Iron Knight was ready for pick-up a lot sooner than I'd expected. I also bought Anna and the French Kiss and The Name of the Star, both of which I've read but didn't own, when I spotted them while browsing the bargain books on Amazon.

    I loved the Iron Knight! I SO love Ash :) And I also want to read The Name of the Star. I've had my eye on that for awhile!

      I'm looking forward to reading from Ash's POV. The Name of the Star is an excellent thriller; I highly recommend it!

      It is! I had been a little wary of YA contemporary before reading Anna, but so many readers loved it that I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy that I did!

      I loved The Name of the Star, although I was a little sorry that I read some parts of it late at night because they were quite spooky!

    Anna and the French Kiss is quite loved (I thought it was okay). But I did really enjoy The Name of the Star. I hope you like all of your books. Great haul!

      I first borrowed The Name of the Star from the library, and I wasn't even halfway through when I knew that I wanted to buy a copy of it for my own shelves.
