Harry Potter Moment of the Week (124)

Harry Potter Moment of the Week is a meme hosted by Uncorked Thoughts and Lunar Rainbows Reviews. The aim of this meme is to share with fellow bloggers a character, spell, chapter, object or quote from the books/films/J. K. Rowling herself or anything Potter related! A list of upcoming topics can be found here.

This week's topic is:
Favorite DADA Spell

EXPECTO PATRONUM! I love the way Harry kind of bellows it in the PoA movie, lol. The Patronus Charm plays such an important role in the series, plus I just love the concept of the Patronus and the special meaning that it has for Harry.

  1. I LOVE how Harry yells it out in PoA too! Especially since that's the film where he looks THE MOST like book Harry. It's perfect ♥ I love how Harry ends up having Prongs to protect him again, I get misty-eyed just thinking about it :*)

    1. GAH, ME. TOO! ♥ My heart seized up when at first Harry thought it WAS James. Plus, I love how it was Lupin who taught Harry the Patronus Charm, and then he in turn went on to teach it to the DA.

  2. I have to agree with you. Expecto Patronum is such an amazing spell, and Harry in the PoA movie was, I think, Daniel Radcliffe at his acting best. And when Prongs saves Harry again....I'm tearing up already just thinking about it.
Did you ever like the Bat-Bogey Hex? Ginny Weasley (book Ginny, anyways) is a total legend.

  3. I love the concept behind it as well and how it has more than one use. I also love how much Rowing personalized it to each wizard and made it a commodity that not every wizard could have since it was such advanced magic. You're right, generally Harry was yelling that one with gusto.
