Stacking the Shelves (34)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's an opportunity for everyone to share the new books that we've acquired.

I got some of these the previous week, but I was too lazy to write up a post in time, so this post covers two weeks. I spotted The Eternity Cure for under $10 on Amazon, and well, I couldn't resist that price.

For Review:

I'm Nobody by Alex Marestaing
Gravity by Abigail Boyd
Thanks to Alex Marestaing & Abigail Boyd!

Borrowed:

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Inferno by Sherrilyn Kenyon
The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff
Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan

Bought:

The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

    1. Inferno was a bit disappointing for me, too. I thought it was on the longish side, and some parts could have easily been cut out. It was still pretty good, though.

  5. Argh. The Eternity Cure. And I still haven't gotten to the Immortal Rules yet. The Replacement was nice, hope you enjoy that one. How is Sherrilyn Kenyon's YA by the way? I haven't exactly gotten around to it yet. Don't know if I should. Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy your pretties and happy reading!

    1. I'm happy to hear that you're liking The Eternity Cure so far! I was a little skeptical when I read The Immmortal Rules because I was a bit jaded with vampires by then, but I was most pleasantly surprised by it.

  16. There are a lot of new ones that I haven't heard of yet - one of the reasons I absolutely love visiting your blog. I'm always adding stuff to my to-read list. I look forward to what you think of The Eternity Cure. Different feelings on it overall, but I really enjoyed it - even more than The Immortal Rules and I know that you like Allison. I love seeing what different people get out of a story. Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.

    1. Allie really impressed me as a heroine, and Kagawa's take on vampires was so refreshing. My reading list is seriously backed up at the moment, but I must find time to squeeze in The Eternity Cure!

  17. Ok so I am definitely in the minority here but I didn't find myself enjoying Eleanor & Park as much as others did. I'm only saying this to balance out your expectations :) But I really hope you love it! I need to check out those books you got for review, I haven't heard of either! Enjoy your books - happy reading!!
