2015 Book Blogger Love-A-Thon: Book Spine Poetry

The Book Blogger Love-A-Thon is hosted by Alexa Loves Books.

I really love composing book spine poetry—probably the only poetry I can decently write, lol. I was looking through my shelves and noticed I had quite a few books with "shadow" in the title, so that was my inspiration here:

Shadows:
The shadow of the wind,
Shadow of night,
Silver shadows.
Changeless
Timeless
Linger forever
In the afterlight.

Be sure to leave a link to your book spine poetry so I can check it out! :)

  3. Awesome poetry! So creative. I didn't do one and now I wish I had tried :( But I only signed up for the Love-a-Thon yesterday so I didn't have much time haha.

    1. You should definitely give it a try next time! I find it hard to get started, but once I put a few titles together, it sort of just comes together.

  4. This is brilliant. I really love how the whole thing is about shadows. I find these so hard to do but I really love attempting to do them and I love reading them too.

  5. This is gorgeous! You did a great job. I love the theme and that it rhymed a bit. <3

    1. Any rhyming was totally unintentional- I was just trying to have the poem make some sense, lol!

  6. Bravo! See, I don't have the creative mind nor the patience for this. I think I will end up pulling my hair trying to come up with one.

  8. I enjoy spine poetry but I just don't get enough time to do it! Why do we never get time for all the fun stuff!

    1. I know! It's been tough lately just finding spare time to get some reading done. I sometimes seriously consider taking a book vacation, where I don't actually go anywhere but just stay home and read, lol.
