Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet other book bloggers!
This week's question is:
We decided to go with these two fictional dads:
Ned Stark from the A Song of Ice and Fire series: He's one of the most dedicated fathers we can think of. We especially loved how he encouraged his daughter, Arya, when she wanted to learn how to use a sword by finding a teacher to give her lessons.
Abe Mazur from the Vampire Academy series: Sure, he's a bit of an unconventional dad, but he'll always be there when times are tough. Plus, he's got a killer sense of style!
Who is your favorite fictional father? Leave your link, and we'll check it out!
I haven't read either of those! Well, I read the first VA book but I don't remember it well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I'm following back!

He really did come through for her and showed himself to be a very devoted father. Thanks for dropping by!
DeleteI haven't read either of those, although Song of Ice and Fire is high on my list! And of course I've heard lots of good things about VA.
ReplyDeleteOld follower :-)

A Song of Ice and Fire is amazing- I highly recommend the series! Thanks for dropping by!
DeleteI LOVE Abe. Most people think he doesn't care, but he proves just how much he will always protect his little girl. :D
ReplyDeleteI totally agree- despite his reputation, Abe actually is a fiercely protective dad to Rose. Thanks for stopping by!
Deletei love the unconventional ways he saves her butt.

DeleteHi! New Linky Follower hopping on through.
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! I think Abe is an awesome dad. Although he wasn't there for Rose when she was younger, he has proved time and again that he still cares for her deeply. I've also never read GoT but I do watch the show. Oh Ned! How I miss you :(
Here's my FF if you'd like to check it out. :)
Yeah, Abe was there when it really counted. And poor Ned, I miss him too! Thanks for stopping by and following! :)
DeleteI don't think I know your characters, I need to read more of these books lol. But it sounds nice.

They are cool characters. Both series are amazing! Thanks for stopping by!
Deletehaha Abe Mazur!!! I did like him but didn't find him that great of a father especially since he didn't show up till Rose was 18. I haven't read Game of Thrones but thought Ned Stark was a great dad on the show. Sometimes! Old GFC and Linky follower. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it took Abe a lot of time to come around. Ned is a great dad in the books as well, though he did sometimes put loyalty and honor before his family. But, I still love him! Thanks for stopping by!
Deletei am a new follower, I also have not read those books either, here is my FF Post
