This week's topic is:
Would You Have Put Your Name in the Goblet of Fire?
Um, no. You can keep the eternal glory and whatnot; there's NO WAY I'm going for a swimmy swim in that lake. Or battling a dragon. Or running through a terrifying hedge maze and facing who knows what (or You-Know-Who, hahaha!). Also, I wouldn't want the hassle of dealing with Mean Movie Dumbledore if I put my name in and strictly wasn't supposed to. XD
Great answer! I think I'd be inclined to agree with you: The Goblet of Fire would definitely not be my thing. I'd probably get fried on the first challenge.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I really can't think of a prize that would motivate me enough to want to compete!
Deletehahahaha "Mean Movie Dumbledore"
ReplyDeleteI still cringe at the scene where he yells at Harry after Harry's name pops out of the Goblet of Fire!
DeleteI don't really know what this entails but judging from your description I don't want any part of it! I'll just take a pass thank you. :) It does have me wondering now though... dragons?
ReplyDeleteThe dragons were awesome yet terrifying here, I suppose kind of like the dragons in ASoIaF, LOL! Even with magic, I wouldn't want to go up against one!
DeleteLol you and me both! Inasmuch as I want to be a badass heroine, there's not way that I'll survive the first minute of the challenge. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for the new book prezzie! I had to DNF Prudence :(, hopefully the novellas will work for me better.
DeleteYou're very welcome! :D Prudence was a tough read for me, too, and I was hesitant to read the sequel. What really motivated me was reading the one novella, Poison or Protect, which isn't directly related to the Prudence story line. Prudence's sequel turned out to be so much better paced than the first book, and I definitely recommend hanging in there with the series!
DeleteYikes! Sorry I'm late! Your 'Mean Movie Dumbledore' comment made my life though XD I'm with you 100% my friend: I'd watch from the sidelines thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteI'm 100% good just taking everything in as an observer, lol. And Mean Dumbledore yelling at Harry is forever burned in my memory. :/
DeleteROFL mean movie Dumbledore would've been the worst part of this!! I'm all for someone else having the eternal glory for sure. I would've wanted to SEE it all, but definitely wouldn't wanted to have had to participate.
ReplyDeletePoor movie Harry- first he has to do the awkward walk through the Great Hall after the Goblet of Fire spits his name out, then he has Dumbledore in his face yelling at him! :/ Can you tell that scene from the film bothers me A LOT? XD
