I read 118 pages yesterday, which was quite a bit more than I can usually read on a weeknight. I would have continued reading for another hour or so had I not kept dozing off thanks to a long day at work, lol. I'm about a quarter of a way through my current read, Haze by Paula Weston.

For darkness shows the stars
These broken stars,
Under the never sky.
Hollow city,
City of lost souls:
Never fade . . . .

Congrats on the 118 pages. I really like the book spine poetry as well, definitely a tricky thing to accomplish and I think you do it quite well!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) It was definitely one of my better attempts at book spine poetry, lol. Usually I'm not very inspired at all!
DeleteYour book spine poem is so pretty!!! I usually have a really hard time with these types of challenges.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 118 pages! Especially considering you were tired, I can barely read when I am tired. So I applaud your amount of pages.
Thanks! :) I didn't do as well yesterday with the page count, which was a little disappointing, but I'm hoping to make up for it tonight. That is, if I can avoid falling asleep early again!
