Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's an opportunity for everyone to share the new books that we've acquired.
I haven't done an StS post in about a month, and it's been much longer than that since Ally and I did an StS post together! At last, we both had time for a joint trip to the library, and we were even very good about not borrowing too many books at once. I wish I could say that I was also good about not buying too many books, but it was the holidays after all.

Looks like some great books there! I've not bought anything else this week but last weekend I bought A Fatal Winter, Ragnarok and a totally cheesy, chick lit with an incredibly embarassing title!
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs an escapist read once in a while, and a lot of times those turn out to be unexpected page-turners, so enjoy! :)
DeleteAlly, I just read The Darkest Minds and LOVED it. Will try to read Never Fade soon:) I hope you enjoy your magical and fantastic haul!
ReplyDeleteLee, the first two are high on my tbr as well. Hope you enjoy :) Also, I really want to get the new VA covers, I have the old ones--they're just so cheesy, but nevertheless I love them so there's no point in getting the new ones :( oh well..
Happy reading you two! :)

DeleteDon't you just love the new VA covers??? I got books 5 and 6 last week and am considering just re-buying the entire series because they look so cool :) And...uh...actually I'm in love with all the books you guys got. Like...either have read them and love them or am absolutely jealous I don't have them ;) Ha, have fun reading!!
ReplyDeleteThe new VA covers are really cool; I've ended up with one mismatched cover in my set (Spirit Bound- bought the hardcover a while back at a bargain price), but oh well. I'm just happy to have the complete series now!

Congrats on all the goodies ladies, I loved seeing the Grisha books in there :D The Immortal Rules, Seraphina, Halfway to the Grave and the VA books are all sitting on my shelves (virtual and real life) waiting to be read so I look forward to seeing your thoughts for all of those...since I can only assume you'll get to them all before I do >.< In the After sounds great too and I absolutely adore the cover for Sovereign Hope, those colours are stunning! I hope you enjoy all of these!! xx
ReplyDeleteI think you would really enjoy reading Seraphina; I absolutely loved the world-building in it, and her take on dragons is so fascinating. In the After has been on my TBR for a long time, and I couldn't pass up the sweet Kindle Daily Deal price!
