Favorite Moment in Book 3
My favorite moment in Prisoner of Azkaban has to be when Sirius Black and Remus Lupin reunite in the Shrieking Shack. It was like getting the gang, technically three quarters of the gang: Sirius, Remus, and Peter, back together. Despite Wormtail being evil, it is one of the few times, if not the only time, in the series when the majority of the Marauders are together. Not only was the reunion between Sirius and Remus sweet, but it was also the first time that Sirius was able to explain himself and his innocence to Harry. It was an all-around great moment.
Such a fantastic moment! I remember being really creeped out by Wormtail in that scene. Thinking skin-crawly thoughts of how gross it was that he was with them that whole time. Them teaming up against Snape as a large group though was priceless :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I completely agree about the creepiness of Wormtail! Snape was such a nuisance in that scene, he definitely deserved what he got.
DeleteI really enjoyed that moment as well, crazy as it was. It was also Sirius seeing grown-up Harry for the first time, and if he really looked a lot like James, that had to hit him home. :)
ReplyDeleteI never really thought of it that way! Aww, it must have been bittersweet for Sirius and Remus to see Harry.
Delete^^Brilliant moment! I love the reunion of Lupin & Sirius and how the truth comes out fully at this point and you're right, the surviving Maurauders reunited is pretty cool - even though Wormtail is a villain. This whole part of the book is really golden, the moment you chose directly leads up to my pick this week ♥ I love that Sirius finally gets to become innocent in Harry's (and Lupin's) eyes :*)
ReplyDeleteYeah, Sirius clearing his name to his godson and his best friend is truly a highlight of the book.
DeleteRemus and Sirius were two of my favourite characters which is why I love this book so much. First time I read it, I felt so cheated that Sirius was innocent but still had to go back on the run!
ReplyDeleteI know! I just wanted Sirius to be free. Sirius could have been Harry's official guardian.
DeleteI love that moment as well! :) It is so tense as well because we don't know that Sirius is innocent at that point!
ReplyDeleteVery true! I was ecstatic to find out the whole truth.
