If You Could Change One Thing from Book 5, What Would It Be?
This is probably the least amount of time I've ever had to spend thinking about an answer for an HPMotW. XD Without a single doubt, I would change what happens to Sirius!!!!! That was THE MOST devastating moment in the series for me, and quite possibly in any book ever. I had to go back and reread the scene like three times before my brain could even begin to process it. WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY JKR? JUST. WHY?????????!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh man this is an excellent answer Lee^^ I was obviously also devastated and have yet to truly accept Sirius' fate. I don't think I ever will! BUT I feel that I understand why (even though I HATE it) JKR did it. I wish it never happened but I get it. Ugh, so many conflicting emotions >.<
ReplyDeleteI still vividly remember the exact moment when I read this part in OotP, and I had to reread it multiple times to make sure that I was processing it correctly. I don't think I'll ever be over it, either! :'(
DeleteI definitely understand why it had to happen, but it was a gut-wrenching moment. I read somewhere that she was actually going to kill Mr. Weasley there and changed it in one of the edits.
