Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Have Been on My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's topic is:
Books That Have Been on My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read

This week’s prompt was waaay too easy for me. There are tons of books I’ve been meaning to get to.

1. The Last Star by Rick Yancey

I love The 5th Wave series, but it is taking me an eternity to get to the third book in the series.

2. The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman

I’ve had this book for two years! Lee keeps bugging me to read it . . . .

3. Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater

Man, I loved The Wolves of Mercy Falls, and I can’t wait to get to this book.

4. Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs

Again, from a series I really enjoyed, but have not had the chance to finish.

5. Tales of the Peculiar by Ransom Riggs

Ditto to the previous one.

6. The Girl from the Well by Rin Chupeco

This one has been sitting in my car for many moons.

7. Where She Went by Gayle Forman

I loved If I Stay, but I’m hesitant to read the sequel.

8. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

This book has probably been on my TBR list the longest of all of these books.

9. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

I have wanted to read this one since I read Jane Eyre in high school.

10. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, & Jack Thorne

I am downright scared to read this one.

What books have been on your TBR the longest?

  1. Oh The 5th Wave series! I never DID read those. And The dark Days Club I seem to remember seeing some good reviews for...

  3. wuthering heights - it's an okay read

harry potter is always a favorite but I really don't like reading plays so I wouldn't read 'the cursed child' unless someone thought to turn it into a novel. I think only people who are desperate, well, perhaps true fans might read plays & such but for me, I just don't see the point.

    have a lovely day.

    1. I guess reading a play is never really as great as seeing it performed. :)

  5. I`m trying to motivate myself to read Wuthering Heights for years now. Hopefully, this year I`ll finally do it. Good luck with your reading!

  6. The 5th Wave books have been on my TBR for a while too. I read the first one and loved it but haven't moved forward with the rest of the series yet.

  7. OMG The Last Star! I never read it either! I even grabbed it from the library a year or so ago but never got to it before it was due back. Doh!
