November 2016 Recap

Welp, there's not much of a recap for November because there were like 3 posts, 1 of which was the October recap. XD Real life has just been a greedy time suck lately, devouring every nanosecond. At least getting to go back to YALLFest last month provided a much needed, even though it was short, break from full-time adulting.

I also got to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them last month, which was excellent. I'm definitely looking forward to more installments! I've been trying to tune in when I can to the every episode ever Simpsons marathon that's currently airing, but alas, real life usually thwarts my efforts to catch like an hour of TV.

I didn't read ANY books at all in November. *sad face* On the upside, if I read even just one book in December, I'll still have surpassed November's total! Yay for setting the bar low! XD

What are you guys reading in December—any holiday-themed reads?

  1. I don't have ANY holiday themed reads at the moment- which is kinda weird since last year I read a few (mysteries mostly). Just haven't found any that appealed, and I've been so preoccupied with SciFi Month. Anyway here's to a good reading December!

I need to see Fantastic Beasts! And YALLfest sounds so fun... :)

    1. YALLFest was amazing! It's just so wonderful to see so many book lovers gathered together. And I hope you enjoy Fantastic Beasts! I can't wait to watch it again when it comes out on Blu-Ray. :D

  2. Ugh! I'm sorry that real life is STILL being a pain and taking away your reading/Simpsons time!! At least you got to see Fantastic Beasts though!! YAY! Did you see the new Pottermore article on Arianna Dumbledore and how her story could tie into FBaWtFT? Veeerrry interesting!!

I've been struggling with my reading (STILL) since EoS...I've had three books on the go for like a month and I only JUST finished ONE o.O No Holiday reads for me, once I finish my two other books (including Half Bad) I think I'll read GEMINA or more of the Charley Davidson series. What about you?

Here's to a lovely and CALM December my friend ♥

    1. Aww, same to you! ♥ I'm still on the book I tried to start last month. :( It's not the book's fault at all; I love it! It's just a TOTAL lack of time lately. I really wanted to read The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily (sequel to Dash & Lily's Book of Dares) for a Christmas read, but that's not happening. *sigh*

I need to check out Pottermore for that Arianna Dumbledore article! That is most intriguing, indeed! :D

  3. I'm lost in the world of podcasts. I listen to Amy Schumer when I need a break. And I'm in such a bad reading slump that I finally got the library copy of the latest ToG and I haven't even started it. Yeah *sad face*

  4. Real life has gotten me big time right now too! Way too much going on and I'm in a serious need of good binge reading time. I hope you get yours soon. I did get to see Fantastic Beasts as well and I really enjoyed it! I laughed a ton and the critters were just so cute.
