This week's topic is:
You discover an injured animal but to help it, you have to be able to communicate with it. Who do you ask for help?
- Hagrid (Harry Potter): Hagrid loves ALL creatures, even the scary ones, and he'd be more than happy to jump in and help.
- Jem Carstairs (The Infernal Devices): No one but Jem was ever able to gain the affection of Church the cat, so if Church trusts him, there's a good chance that Jem would provide a calming presence here. Will Herondale, however, is out because he can't even get along with ducks. XD
- Yelena (Poison Study): Yelena can communicate telepathically with her horse, Kiki, so it's not a stretch to think that she might be able to connect with other animals as well, especially since she wields some powerful magic.
- Bran Stark (A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones): Bran can probably offer lots of advice on communicating with animals, since he often wargs into the mind of his direwolf, Summer.
- Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender): If you've ever seen the show, then you know that Aang and his sky bison, Appa, are bestest buddies forever, and he seems like the type of character who'd be willing to go to the aid of any animal in need.
Hagrid and Aang! YES, brilliant! I'm kind of kicking myself for not thinking about either of them right now LOL, but at least you guys did ;) Both of them would be absolutely perfect for the task! Hagrid is so sweet and understanding when it comes to animals and well, Aang has such love for all living things - except for when Appa is missing D:
ReplyDeleteI'm still traumatized by the "Appa's Lost Days" episode! Ally had warned me that it was going to be sad, but that didn't even begin to describe the heartbreak! :'(
DeleteHagrid is an amazing choice! He would do his best to help the little creature no matter how dangerous. :) I don't know any of the other characters but judging by what you've said about them, they are well equipped for this situation.
ReplyDeleteHagrid has come across so many different creatures, he could probably handle anything, lol! Plus, he really does love them. :D
DeleteHagrid :D Of course he'd be a huge help! I love Aang as a choice as well. I haven't read Infernal Devices, but I know Church the cat from Mortal Instruments. Now I'm wondering how on earth he's been around this long!! Poison Study is on my to-read list.
