This week's topic is:
You're trapped in an elevator when the power goes out (damn Muggle technology) - and using magic to get yourself out isn't an option (Statute of Secrecy and all that) so which characters would you prefer to spend that time with?

I actually do worry about getting stuck in an elevator, lol, specifically the one at work. I used to take the stairs until the stairwell became a constant bathroom for patrons of the neighboring restaurant. So elevator it is, but the damn thing always sounds like it's on its last leg and has occasionally tries to move with the door open. :O If I'm getting trapped, then I'd love to hang out with:

Harry Potter: I solemnly swear that I'm not asking him to break the Statute of Secrecy! XD I mean, it's Harry freaking Potter!
Blue Sargent (The Raven Cycle): Because I need updates on how everyone is doing post-The Raven King.
Aelin (Throne of Glass): My favorite fire-breathing bitch queen! If we can't magic ourselves out, Aelin will just bust us out of there.
Jon Snow (Game of Thrones): I need some kind of new news from Westeros.
Homer Simpson: We can count on Homer to make us laugh while we wait for the door to be fixed . . . or for Aelin to get impatient and break it open.

YES indeed! I wish that I could pick 5 items just from the world of Harry Potter, LOL! I'm also stretching the definition of "magical" a bit here, too, hehehe.

Time-Turner (Harry Potter): For the love of Merlin's Beard, how I NEED this in my life! I'd get so much more adulting crap done so I'd have more time to read!
The TARDIS (Doctor Who): I don't know if this qualifies as a magical item, but I still want one, LOL! Combine a Time-Turner with the TARDIS, and I'd never have to worry about running out of time again!
Lightsaber (Star Wars): I've wanted one of these since I saw the first Star Wars movie when I was about 5. Time to make my childhood dream come true!
Replicator (Star Trek): My mom was a huge Star Trek fan, and she always used to joke that having a replicator would mean she could retire from cooking, lol. I'm no whiz in the kitchen, that's for sure, and a replicator would save me a lot of inedible meals. XD
Kell's Coat (Shades of Magic): Kell's coat has multiple sides, which means plenty of pockets to store stuff in!

Oh gods, high school, AKA four years of PURE. HELL. So let's do this do over right with this crew:

Hermione Granger: Hermione would be my study buddy for sure.
Blue Sargent (The Raven Cycle): I adore Blue's no-nonsense attitude and how she doesn't give a sh*t what other people think. I could definitely learn a lot from her. And hello to hanging out at Monmouth Manufacturing with a certain group of Aglionby Academy students after school! XD
Aelin (Throne of Glass): I have feeling no one would mess around with my friends with Aelin around. Plus she'd just be awesome to hang out with.
Lisa Simpson: Lisa is technically still in elementary school, but there was an episode where she managed to pass as a college student. XD I think she could totally get away with posing as a high school student, and we could geek out together.
Isabel Culpeper (The Wolves of Mercy Falls): OK, so Isabel isn't exactly friendly, LOL, but I just know that we would get along because we both speak fluent snark.

Hogwarts/Luna Lovegood: Letter or no letter, I'm going to Hogwarts with my fellow Ravenclaw, Luna! I was originally going to pick Harry to show me around, but I think Luna would be a most interesting tour guide. XD
Gansey/Henrietta, Virginia: OK, so I'm going to Henrietta not so much for the location itself but because of who lives there. ;-) Like Gansey, Blue, Ronan, Adam, and Noah. It would be cool to check out the ley line and drop in at 300 Fox Way and Monmouth Manufacturing, too.
Aang/The world of Avatar: The Last Airbender: I want to see all of the beautiful places the gAang visited during their travels together! I chose Aang as my travel buddy because having a flying bison definitely comes in handy for getting around.
The Night Court/Rhysand: Just thinking about the Night Court (and Rhys, hahaha!) reminds me how much I can't wait to return to that world and how badly I need A Court of Wings and Ruin. May 2 isn't that far away!
Regency England/Elizabeth Bennet: Because I've watched film adaptations of Jane Austen's novels too many times, lol. Maybe I can find my own Mr. Darcy while I'm there?

You have a birthday coming up and you want to celebrate in your-style. What kind of celebration are you having and which fictional characters are celebrating with you?

I'm really not looking forward to this year's birthday in a couple of months because of the particular age I'm turning, lol, but if these folks were partying with me, I might feel a little better. XD I'm not a party person, so there's no specific theme I'd be going for; I'd just want everyone to have fun!

Tony Stark: If we're throwing a party, then the first person I'm calling is this guy because he always knows how to have a blast. Yes, that was a cringe-inducing Iron Man joke I just tried to throw in there. XD
Gansey (The Raven Cycle): I'm totally inviting my beloved Gansey, and of course I'm extending the invitation to Blue and the other Raven Boys. This party may quickly turn into some kind of quest, which I'm totally down with!
Aelin (Throne of Glass): Gotta have one of my all-time favorite heroines at my birthday bash!
Jon Snow: Yeah, he's really serious about 99.9999% of the time, so maybe a party would help him relax a bit. And for my name day, would he let me tell him, "You know nothing, Jon Snow" a number of times equal to my age? Trust me, it's more than Ygritte utters the phrase in the books, LOLOLOL!
Han Solo: Can we close out the party with a ride in the Millennium Falcon, obviously making the jump into hyperspace?

I'm already a little concerned about my new psychic abilities because my brain could only come up with 4 characters this week. No one else sprang to . . . mind. XD

Professor Charles Xavier: FINALLY—I get to enroll in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters! Except I'm more of an oldster. XD
Maura Sargent (The Raven Cycle): Not only is Maura a gifted psychic, but she also lives in a house full of psychics. And you never know who might drop by 300 Fox Way. *cough*The Raven Boys*cough*
Obi-Wan Kenobi: I'd definitely seek some training from Obi-Wan because wielding the Force like a pro requires intense mind focus.
Spock: This guy is an expert at self-discipline. I'm sure he could help me get my abilities in line in no time.

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, you're feeling uncharacteristically romantic. Huh! Which 5 fictional characters would you like to spend a romantic evening with? -OR- Which characters would you like to hang out with and watch cheesy romantic movies with?

I'm not into Valentine's Day and view it pretty much as an excuse to eat lots of chocolate (Reese's Peanut Butter Hearts, specifically XD). Staying home and watching cheesy rom-coms, possibly while eating Reese's Peanut Butter Hearts, sounds more like me, but I'm going to venture out on a limb here and spend a romantic evening with these fictional guys:

Gansey (The Raven Cycle): Obviously. XD
Sam Roth (The Wolves of Mercy Falls): Yep, I'm spending Valentine's Day with two Maggie Stiefvater characters. Sam is just the sweetest.
Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice): So he may not be the most sociable at first, but we all know what a true gentleman he is.
Cassian Andor (Rogue One): I'm going to try and convince him to take a few hours off from rebelling.
Sirius Black: Let's see if I can get through the evening without saying things like, "This is a siriusly awesome Valentine's Day!" and "I siriusly love you!" XD

Honor! You've been dishonored by your peers and you must regain your honor at all costs! Which honorable characters are you going to call up to help?

Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender): This team would NOT be complete without Zuko! He spent three seasons of AtLA trying to regain his honor! He's definitely leading my squad!
Harry Potter: Not only did Harry have to deal with Voldemort, but he also had to put up with a lot of crap that attacked his character, like when he was suspected of being the Heir of Slytherin and when the Ministry of Magic basically called him a liar for saying that Voldemort had returned. Harry persevered like the trooper he is, though, and I feel he'd be more than willing to help others who've had their name dragged through the mud.
Brienne of Tarth (A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones): This lady does not take vows lightly and understands the importance of honor.
Gansey (The Raven Cycle): Gansey's loyalty to his friends and the lengths he would go to for them makes him an honorable character in my eyes, and I don't doubt that he'd do whatever was necessary to get some honor back for a friend in need.
Lisa Simpson: She's not a superhero, but you can always count on Lisa to crusade for justice, and in this case, restoration of one's honor!

Katniss Everdeen: Katniss knows all about surviving, and she'd probably have very little difficulty adapting her mad skills to another planet.
Spock: With Spock on the team, I have no doubt we could face whatever—or whomever—awaits us on the planet.
Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender): Aang wields mastery of all the elements, which might come in handy if conditions on the planet are less than habitable.
Leela (Futurama): Leela's logged many space miles AND often bailed the Planet Express crew out of sticky situations, lol, so she's more than qualified to assist here.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: If I'm doing any kind of space travel, I'm bringing a Jedi Knight with me! XD

Haha, this would TOTALLY be me, messing around with magic and getting in over my head. XD So here's who I'm calling to help dig me out of my mess:

Dumbledore: Time to call THE expert on magic! XD
Kell (Shades of Magic): Not only is Kell highly proficient in elemental magic, but he can time travel as well. So we've got quite a few magical bases covered here.
Sabriel: As much as I hope I haven't accidentally raise the dead or anything, it's good to know we have a necromancer on our side, just in case.
Yelena (Poison Study): Yelena is highly adept at wielding magic, and I'm sure she'd have no difficulty dealing with the little problem I've created.
Magnus Bane (The Mortal Instruments): Magnus would probably only need a few seconds to put a stop to my haywire spell.

If only I woke up with superpowers this morning, LOL! I could get the weekend chores done so much faster! XD Here's who I'd seek out to help me figure out what's going on:

Professor X: When in doubt, seek out the head of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters!
Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender): If I could bend an element, or multiple elements (yay!), then I'd want to learn to control my powers from the Avatar himself.
Hermione Granger: Even though we're talking about superpowers here, I still feel that consulting Hermione would be extremely helpful. She'd totally figure out the source of my sudden abilities.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: In case I'm a Jedi?! XD
Ronan Lynch (The Raven Cycle): If I were to develop the ability to take objects out of my dreams like young Mr. Lynch, I'd attempt to seek out his advice, although I envision the conversation going something like this:

Gah! How is tomorrow Halloween already?! I feel like it was just New Year's! Now I have to go drown my sorrows over how this year has almost totally slipped by me by eating as many Reese's peanut butter pumpkins as possible. XD Now on to assembling a team of troublemakers:

Ronan Lynch (The Raven Cycle): Ronan and trouble are practically synonymous, and Ronan can be very, very creative.
Fred & George Weasley: Mischief. Managed! XD
Homer Simpson: Homer can cause mayhem without even trying, so imagine the results if he puts some effort into it!
Loki: It doesn't even need to be Halloween to give this trickster a reason to wreak havoc.
Cole St. Clair (The Wolves of Mercy Falls): I'd love to see how much chaos ensues from Cole and Ronan teaming up. Bonus: a snarkfest is likely to break out between the two, lol.

Aelin (Throne of Glass): There's nothing that this lady can't do, including come up with the most brilliant revenge plan ever, which may involve some sharp weapons and some assassinating. XD
Sirius Black (Harry Potter): In a perfect world in which that thing that happened in Order of the Phoenix didn't happen, Sirius is helping me get some sweet, sweet vengeance.
Rose Hathaway (Vampire Academy): Here's another character who was framed for a crime she didn't commit. Fiery Rose isn't the type to ever forget something like that, either, and you can totally count her in on the revenge plotting.
Ronan Lynch (The Raven Cycle): Ronan is generally pissed off at the world, and I don't think it would take much convincing to get him to join up in getting some payback.
Edmond Dantès (The Count of Monte Cristo): I'd absolutely want the guy from quite possibly the greatest revenge story ever told to be involved in writing my own tale of revenge!

Harry Potter: Um, because he's Harry Potter? XD
Cole St. Clair (The Wolves of Mercy Falls): Here's a guy who absolutely loves the spotlight, and he's more than welcome to take all of it for himself, lol.
Tony Stark: Another guy who loves fame and who can also deflect attention away from me.
Gansey (The Raven Cycle): I want Gansey in my entourage because 1) I love him and 2) I'm going for an entourage within an entourage, hoping that he'll convince Blue, Ronan, Adam, and Noah (and Henry) to join up as well.

Magnus Bane (The Mortal Instruments/The Infernal Devices): Magnus has lived a very long life, and maybe he'd want to revisit this particular time.
Blue Sargent (The Raven Cycle): Blue would probably get a kick out of 70's styles, lol.
Luke Skywalker (Star Wars): I picked Luke just because I thought it'd be funny for him to visit the decade in which the first Star Wars movie was released. XD

This week's topic is:
You've discovered the Sword in the Stone! Who do you want to help you free it?

Harry Potter: He wielded Godric Gryffindor's sword like a pro, so I feel pretty confident that he might be able to help out here, especially since he can always try using magic!
Aelin (Throne of Glass): Aelin wouldn't let something like a stone keep her from access to a weapon.
Sabriel (The Old Kingdom): If this lady isn't deemed worthy to free the sword, I don't know who is!
Gansey (The Raven Cycle): Gansey's search for the Welsh king Glendower always reminded me of an Arthurian quest, so I think that his input would be very valuable.
King Arthur: The go-to guy for this task if everyone else fails. XD
