Ally's back in school, so it's only my small stack this week. I was really good on my last library trip, only borrowing two books so that I can start reading all of the books that I bought ages ago but never read. I'm not supposed to be buying any books, but I love reading about the Wars of the Roses, and when I spotted Philippa Gregory's The Kingmaker's Daughter at a really nice price, I couldn't pass it up.

Yes, The Kingmaker's Daughter is Philippa Gregory's new book. I recently read her first YA book, Changeling, and wasn't too crazy about it; I thought that the paranormal elements needed more work. I haven't read any of her adult novels yet. My copy of The Other Boleyn Girl is still sitting unread on my shelf. I plan on tackling the stack of unread books that I already own next, so I hope to get to it soon.

That was the case for Anne Neville, who the book is about. I believe she was 16 when she got married for the second time, to the future Richard III of England. I am such a nerd when it comes to this historical time period, lol.
